As a female-focused mentoring program for women in business, MentHER wanted a workshop to elevate mentoring relationships beyond social and emotional support. A facilitator who could guide students through how mentoring in their professions will be necessary to develop relationships, access knowledge, and gain growth opportunities. Dr. Shaunna Payne Gold did more than guide our MentHER students through professional mentoring she delivered a workshop where students could visualize it. She was an illustrator who drew a picture that connected concepts with actions to empower young women as they saw themselves developing mentoring relationships.
