6/20 - Don’t Panic! DEI Strategy in Times Like This
For a savvy strategist, there are a menu of options when it comes to strategy for moving the work forward. Whether it’s people, policy, or procedures, your work doesn’t have to be an all or nothing. Join us for practical strategies to apply on Monday morning.
6/27 - Advanced Equity Concepts for Senior Leaders
If you are a c-suite leader (especially those without a Chief Diversity Officer), we realize how important DEI may be to you, but you’re unsure how to apply it to your unique area of influence (i.e. CEO, COO, CFO, CHRO). Join us and we’ll connect the dots for you.
7/11 - Quiet DEI Strategies
Some of the best DEI moves are actually silent best practices in your areas of influence. Join us to learn more about the plethora of actions you can take as an lover of DEI without your organization getting hung up on the language and the semantics.
7/18 - DEI and Your Health
Did you know that people who do not have a sense of belonging in your organization can have effects on the brain similar to a combat veteran? Did you know that social isolation and loneliness can heighten health risks as much as 15 cigarettes a day, physical illnesses, early death, and cardiovascular disease? Join us to learn more about how to keep your employees happy and healthy in the office.
7/25 - (Re)charging Your DEI Committee in Chaos
Even in the best organizations, DEI Committees are like F1 race cards without a steering wheel. Engine revving with tons of potential, but no steering wheel to speed toward their goals. Join this step-by-step session on the different types of “DEI Committees” (i.e. ERGs, task forces, action committees) and how to draft a charter that your senior leaders and staff can use.
8/1 - Dialogue Principles for Healing
Most organizations have heroes, villains, and at times – supervillains. Perception isn’t always reality with these characters, so leaders must be intentional about bridging factions. Good leaders attempt to foster conversation around issues as they arise. Great leaders are equipped facilitators who know the benefits of skilled dialogue facilitation and develop a list of “go to” strategies for such conversations.
8/8 - Resistance Management
If you hadn’t noticed by now, resistance to diversity, equity, and inclusion work can show up in many different ways. A spectrum of covert to overt resistant behaviors can make the installation and flourishing of DEI work almost impossible if you don’t recognize and respond to them quickly.
8/15 - Writing Your Company’s DEI Strategic Plan
Whether you’re writing a stand alone DEI strategic plan or using DEI as the lens for the entirety of your strategic planning process, we can provide some key perspectives that will allow you to name, describe, and measure success when it comes to DEI progress over time.
Take your pick! We’re excited to greet you and provide tons of resources to get you through the current context as smoothly as possible. If your ideal course is full or your calendar overlaps with ours, don’t worry!
